September’s optional question - Have you ever surprised yourself with your writing? For example, by trying a new genre you didn't think you'd be comfortable in?
I've been learning more about promoting so as usual, new things make me uneasy. But it's good to learn more and step out of the comfort zone now and then. I'm even doing more editing for others.
That's all of the new insecurities this time.
In answer to this month's question: I haven't tried writing in a new genre, but now and then something does happen to surprise me.
